The current pendulum swing goes far beyond the election of Donald Trump. The left always oversteps their bounds. They either clamp down with the full force of totalitarian control and punishment or the right slips through the cracks and yanks the culture back with a just response.
One needs only an active portion of a society —the Pareto principle — to ferment “revolutionary” change and chaos. That means that a good 80% of society is dragged into terrain they rather not occupy. Mainstreaming “trans” lifestyles and things like “drag queen story hour” were never popular or acceptable with the sane majority. Likewise with welcoming into the country millions of vagabonds, criminals, terrorists, and poor unskilled people “looking for a better life” at your expense.
We’re fortunate that the Western World has such a long legacy of leaning to the side of freedom. When the totalitarians make their move it’s typically rapid and extreme, resulting in either dystopia or a well-deserved pushback. At such a time, a successful and wise archetypal response can save civilization from a descent into hell.
